Whilst the elite squad were competing 200 miles away in Belgium, Nikkisha Bailey travelled to Essex with 10 others from the WIKF England squad, to compete at the 2010 TKA International Open.
Nikkisha, aged 12 years old fought well winning her first 2 bouts comfortably. In the final, Nikkisha was competing against one of the England finest, who was also 15 years old. The bout went into extra time, but Nikkisha narrowly lost 1-2, settling for the silver medal. This is a great achievement as her opponent was far older and more experienced.
Well done Nikkisha!!!
