Squad Success at the EKF National Championships

Two of Ken-Bu-Kan's experienced junior squad members along with four new members of the squad travelled to Sheffield to compete at the 2012 EKF National Championships.

Nikkisha Bailey stormed her way into 3 finals in impressive style, taking Gold in the girls Open weight individual category, Silver in the heavy weight divison and finally winning the deciding bout of the girls team final for a second Gold of National Championships.  Dan Farrelly was equally impressive, taking Bronze in the team event and also Bronze in his individual section, narrowly losing his place in the final by just one point.  Well done Nikkisha and Dan!!!

Max Beesley, Jack Ward, Asa Rogers and Zal Sanei all competed at these Championships for the very first time, fighting well in their respective individual and team events but didn't manage to get on the podium on this occassion.  Well done boys!!!
